Mooring at Kasar

In front of the tank there are two yacht connections for up to 12 meters in length. Along the water depth is 1.6 m, 5 meters from the end of the depth is 2.5 m. Nautical betters have two links with 1200 kg concrete anchors and one 700 kg anchor.

The southwestern part of the bay is exposed by strong and sudden strokes of the northeasterly wind in the late-night hours that is most unpleasant in the mentioned site.

Anchorage is recommended for the night in the northeastern part of the bay.

Captain’s quarters – Zaton

Cove northwest of Dubrovnik. There are three settlements in the bay: the Great Zaton on the west side, on the east of Stikovica and on the north coast of Mali Zaton. The valley goes through the Adriatic highway. All three settlements together have about 600 inhabitants. The bay is exposed in winter to the south and southwestern and northern winds (especially buri), so it is not recommended for a longer stay in the winter season.

Yachts up to 2.5 m gauge can agree to the gat and harbor in front of the settlement in Zaton Velik. The whole length of the breakwater has good anchorages set. This yacht can be supplied with the required amount of water. Anchorage is in the middle of the bay or in the northern part (depth 19-23 m).

In the place Mali Zaton there is a post office (50235) and a medical station. In the northern part of Zaton Mali, on the main road, there is a shop and here the yacht can be supplied with basic necessities, food, maintenance, gas.
